Twilight Saga New Moon Movie

The the official title of the upcoming movie sequel to Twilight, aka Twilight 2, has been announced! The film will goes under the title of "The Twilight Saga NEW MOON". The logo of this New Moon movie has been unveiled too:
(Click on the picture to enlarge it.)

I like this logo: it's in line with the first movie logo but does have its own originality. The small new moon below the main title is so cute.

We are one step closer to the release of this New Moon movie. November 20, 2009 isn't so far away! We will enjoy The Twilight Saga New Moon movie soon!
:)

well technically a new moon would be just a black space...but that's just me being smart. i can't deny that it is cute.

i love the logo. but new moon means no moon. then why is there a half moon below it.

I just really hope they do a better job with the dialogue in New Moon and really push Rob & Kirsten a little further in their portrayals of Edward & Bella. I was a little disappointed that the editing left A LOT to be desired in Twilight. I think a lot was lost in the conversations that they failed to include in the script for Twilight and maybe, in New Moon, they can rectifiy some of those problems by having Edward "appear" in the early stages of the story through Bella's dream sequences, and mind wanderings. At the end of Twilight, I was left feeling like..'these stupid kids are crazy, how come they are in love? Where did all that come from?'. I hope Chris is more talented at portraying the intricate and involved story of Edward & Bella so that fans who haven't read the book (although that certainly isn't me) can also enjoy the movie without losing much in the way of understanding. Despite my gripes though, I couldn't be more excited for New Moon, and am really looking forward to seeing how Chris, Stephenie and the whole cast portray the book.

To correct the Anonymous comment #2 on March 3rd, The moon used is a day 25 crescent not a half. :p

I like the new logo. It fits the theme they started with.

Nice...
That's a cute little moon. Kawaii~ if I have to say so myself. It didn't 'run' away from the theme. Can't wait to see the movie, hopefully it's better than the last one.
The last one was quite good, the problem is they shouldn't cut off the "Bella afraid of blood in lab" part, that was funny! And also, the friendship between Bella and Alice is kinda... off the cliff. So hopefully, the movie will be as good as the logo for it :D

The book is waaaay better. Whatever the name is of that director, she did really bad on the special effects (in my opinion). I hope the new director picks it up a little. Plus, all the characters are, well, dopey. I don't want to sound mean or rude because I super love the story but the first movie sucked.
Go new director! Don't suck please!

I agree with you guys I was very frustrated with CH she claimed that she followed everything from the book but she missed soooo much stuff and also the house they chose was way tooooo modern. I hope New Moon will be better than the first one

I am a 29 yr old mom of one, and I must say that I loved the books and the movie as well! Im not an obsessive fan, I just love good books and movies!
I think the movie is getting too much slack. The movie Twilight, was on a strict, and fairly low budget. So, they had to make do with what they could afford, and that also meant special affects. Stephanie Meyer worked with Catherine Hardwick on the set quite a bit and went over the script to make sure that her story was portrayed the way she thought that it should be, in a timely fashion, of course.
I personally liked the way it was filmed for the first film. It wasn't filmed all that perfectly and it was sort of darker and in a sense, I think it made me feel like it was more realistic?
Kristen Stewart seems to be getting a lot of slack for her acting in the movie, which I think its completely crazy. I think that her acting, and of course the rest of the cast made the movie. Her acting and facial expressions made her character seem like just an ordinary girl with an extraordinary, life changing experience.

Thank you Stephenie Meyer for the great Twilight series, absolutely loved and thoroughly enjoyed reading the books. Given that Twilight the first book was an introduction to the characters detailing passionate emotions, inner thoughts and discovering unfamiliar love, a low budget movie with tight deadlines would never have done the book justice. If you hadn't read the book you may have gotten lost in the movie as to how the intensity of the love between Edward and Bella truly came to be, all the more reason to read the books. Well done Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart your portrayal of the characters Edward and Bella did not disappoint me. Looking forward to New Moon.

Hai..I love the first movie very much and watch the dvd more than 7 times.. and bought all the 4 novels of Twilight sequel. I hope this coming New Moon movie, Edward scene will not been diminution a lot as in the new moon novel.
When I heard the song, What About Now by Doughtry…suddenly its remind me of Bella when Edward left her ….its so sad…perhaps this song can add on as on of the background music in New Moon…?

i watched a small preview of new moon and it looked like they were going to use real wolves. if they do that will be very dissappointin because in the book the wolves are bigger than humans. also everyone in the pack while in human form are very large and around 6 to 7feet tall.

I predict that the new moon movie will be much better than the twilight movie. If you've seen the Golden Compass, you know Chris does excellent special effects and he directed that movie beautifully. I think Twilight {movie} was really quite good if you weren't thinking about the book the whole time; I'd use that ame principle for New Moon. Also I agree that they cut way too much out of twilight and they should have left the car scene as it was.

Hello People.
Okayy well i think the title sucks!!
Really, who would name a movie that?
I would of loved it if it was only "New Moon".
My friend, Brenna feels the same way.
I love Twilight, dont get me wrong.
but the title for the upcoming movie kinda killed it.

Well, the logo look okay, but it to simple. They should make people excited see the banner. Whatever work right.

Hope the Chris Weitz version much better than Catherine version, I don't said that I don't like the first one, I enjoy it. Just want to see they bring much more from the book.

best regards,
Iszaham

I love it! It fits. Who cares about the particulars. I am not som uch interested in the "logo" as I am in the actual movie. I can't wait!
I just hope Chris Weitz keeps more with the story than the Twilight movie (though I did love it, I think Catherine Hardwicke did a great job, the book is hard to condense to a standard movie length without omitting some stuff, I'm sure).
There are som many dialogues in Bella's mind (ie:her danger escapades when she "talks" to Edward), it would not do the story justice to cut ANY of these out!
Anyway, I can't wait for Nov. 15 (as some are saying) or Nov. 20 (which most are saying, for the release date).
Good Luck to all the cast and crew in this new venture! Ignore the tabloids and their rabble rousing!

I can not believe someone was complaining about a house being too modern, I mean it was a great film and I for one loved it and a few of my friends would go mad. If they kept the whole of the book in there it would be like 4 hours long and I'm not that patient, but you see I read the book after I had watched the movie and thought that the book just explained everything that was going on in the film in more detail!

I think the first film was ok but the Cullen house was nothing like i expected it to be it was to modern needs to be an older stlye mansion type to my mind but hey thats just me. I hope they do a better job of new moon because the book is so good it has a real scence of depth to it i hope the film will as well. Can't wait to see it in november.

I saw the movie first then decided to read the books.. took me all of 2 days to read all 4 books. I was addicted it was GREAT!! I then realized that the movie sucked lol. I know movies can never do justice to the incredible words in the book, however, the whole movie seemed pained and frustrating and not in an "I love you but cant keep away from you" kind of way.. it just looked like they were constipated all the time lol. The part that really bothered me was that if Bella loved Edward so much and didnt want him to leave her why she not have more passion and love in her voice in the hospital bed at the end? I think the direction in this movie is severely lacking.. Im a housewife and mother and I could of done it much better and with a hell of alot more feeling. Blah whatever right.. I'll just keep reading the books they're much better.

i really liked the book twilight!
however the movie lacked to suspence and left out a lot of things that should have been used from the book. the director needs to read the book all the way thur before trying to direct the movie!
twilight the movie would have been wonderful had it followed the script directly from the book!
